Continuing Parker Australia Leather tool belt for Tradesman who want Quality and Reliability

Maka Leather goods started in 2006 in Tasmania in a small shed making nail pockets and tool rolls for friends and slowly grew and became well known in the Tasmanian building scene

Over time as the business grew, we worked in with Parker Australia to outsource some parts of the manufacturing to Parker Australia a Melbourne based company. Now we get a phone call from Parker Australia and was I interested in the purchase as some overseas businesses were interested as well. After some quick thoughts of I don’t want it to leave Australian ownership decided to buy the iconic Victorian business and keep it in Australia and still employing local people to keep making best quality leather goods to services builders building in our great Country Australia

At the beginning of 2026 we incorporated Parker Australia, (Est late 1970s) a leading manufacturer of tradesman’s leather gear, into our business. All Parker products are manufactured in Australia at our factory in Sorell, Tasmania. Coming from a strong manufacturing background with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, our aim with Parker is to provide an Australian made product which is world class in standards. Our emphasis is on quality and durability, and we Endeavor to use the best available leathers and materials, fittings and hardware. To that end, we work closely with our raw material suppliers to ensure quality of product is guaranteed and we are continually looking to improve and be innovative in the area of quality tradesman’s leather gear.
